This provides students with transparency and flexibility in what they would like to pay for. Please be advised that the a la carte option only includes required digital books, with print books needing to be purchased separately.
If after viewing your program options, you have the further choice to opt completely out of both the flat rate and a la carte, in which case the associated Aggie Access charges on your student account will be reversed within 24-48 business hours. What is the deadline to change my program choice, including opting out?

I've opted out, what can I expect and how do I purchase textbooks?
The Aggie Access program charge will be reversed on your university account within 24-48 hours of opting out, and refunds for those reversals follow the Registrar Office's tuition/fee refund timeline.
Print Books: Any printed materials that were included in the program and picked up/delivered must be returned to the USU Campus Store by Saturday of the fourth week of classes when opting out. Materials must be returned in the original condition in which they were received. If print materials are not yet in your possession (e.g., you received an email to pick up your print items but have not yet picked them up), those items will be removed from your account and returned to the program. After all print items have been returned to the USU Campus Store (where applicable), the program fee that is posted to your university account will be reversed. If you do not return your print books by the established return deadline, the full retail price (whether new or used) will be charged to your student account.
Digital Materials: You will continue to have complimentary access to the digital materials through the opt-out deadline. After the opt-out deadline, access will be revoked for digital eBooks and publisher courseware provided in Canvas, such as McGraw-Hill Connect or Pearson MyLab. You may choose to purchase individual eBooks through the Bookshelf link in CanvasDo I need to opt out each semester?
Yes, you may choose to opt out on a semester by semester basis. There is no option for a "lifetime" opt out because required books change each semester just as your schedule changes. This gives you the opportunity to compare the flat-rate price with the à la carte prices.
Can I opt back in to Aggie Access if I have opted out?
